Badgers upset No. 5 Michigan Tech

• WISCONSIN 2, MICHIGAN TECH 0: Joel Rumpel made 47 saves, 25 in the third period as the Badgers (2-11-1) beat the No. 5 Huskies (15-5) at the Kohl Center. Morgan Zulinick and Joe LaBate scored for Wisconsin.

• OHIO STATE 2, MERCYHURST 2 (OT), tie: After falling behind 2-0, the visiting Buckeyes (6-9-2) rallied to salvage a tie against the Lakers (8-6-3) in the Snowtown Throwdown. Matt Johnson scored in the middle of the second period for Ohio State, Anthony Greco in the middle of the third.

• QUINNIPIAC 4, ST. CLOUD STATE 1: The No. 14 Bobcats (13-6-1) beat the host Huskies (7-10-1) behind two goals from Tom Clifton, one on a power play. Jonny Brodzinski scored his 11th goal for St. Cloud State.

• MINNESOTA DULUTH 8, LAKEHEAD 4 (EXHIB.): Willie Raskob scored twice as the Bulldogs routed the Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

• NORTH DAKOTA 7, U-18 U.S. TEAM 2 (EXHIB.): Michael Parks had two goals as UND beat the under-18 U.S. team in an exhibition game at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

• MSU MANKATO 2, NORTHERN MICHIGAN 2 (OT), tie: The No. 3 Mavericks (14-4-1, 11-2-1) led 1-0 and 2-1 in the opening period on goals by Jean-Paul Lafontaine and Zeb Knutson but the Wildcats (8-6-4, 5-6-3) tied it twice.
