Stephen Strasburg struck out nine in 6 ⅔ innings, and the Washington Nationals beat the host Arizona Diamondbacks 2-1 on Saturday for their third straight victory against the NL West leaders.
Saturday's MLB roundup

Strasburg (5-3) allowed one run and five hits in Washington's sixth win in seven games. The Nationals stranded 11 baserunners, but Bryce Harper and Anthony Rendon each drove in a run.
Arizona dropped its season-high fourth consecutive game. The Diamondbacks also lost a series for the first time after opening with 10 wins and two ties.
Atlanta 10, Miami 5: The visiting Braves broke a 5-all tie in the eighth inning, when Marlins relievers issued three consecutive walks — each on a 3-2 pitch, and the last two with the bases loaded. Freddie Freeman homered twice.
Colorado 4, Milwaukee 0: Trevor Story homered twice and doubled, driving in all four runs for the host Rockies.
Pittsburgh 6, San Francisco 5: The host Pirates won their fifth straight. The go-ahead run scored in the eighth when former Pittsburgh closer Tony Watson hit Jordy Mercer with a pitch with the bases loaded. The Giants have lost six in a row.

Tampa Bay 10-3, Baltimore 3-6: Brad Miller and C.J. Cron homered off former teammate Alex Cobb (0-5) in the nightcap as the visiting Rays ended a five-game losing streak. In the opener, the Orioles' David Hess pitched six effective innings in his big league debut and Jonathan Schoop hit two home runs.
New York 7, Oakland 6 (11): The host Yankees beat the Athletics on Neil Walker's run-scoring single in the 11th to avoid a three-game losing streak. Left fielder Brett Gardner threw out Matt Olson at the plate to help Aroldis Chapman escape a bases-loaded, no-outs jam in the ninth. Chapman became the first Yankees pitcher to walk the first three batters of an inning since Aug. 28, 1992.
Cleveland 6, Kansas City 2: Francisco Lindor homered twice, doubled twice and scored four runs for the host Indians.

Seattle 9-3, Detroit 5-4: The Tigers won the opener, but the nightcap didn't go nearly as well for them. Nicholas Castellanos left in the second inning because of an injured finger on his left hand, and manager Ron Gardenhire was ejected in the fifth.
Boston 5, Toronto 2: David Price got his first victory since April 17 and Hanley Ramirez hit a two-run homer for the visiting Red Sox.
