Princess for a night Young princesses can attend the ball of their dreams at the second annual Daddy/Daughter Dance in District 196. Fathers, grandfathers, and other relatives and friends can invite the girls in their lives, ages 3 to 11, to the April 19 event, which will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Falcon Ridge Middle School in Apple Valley.
Tickets cost $30 per adult-child pair and $10 for each additional child. Admission includes treats, drinks, a photo keepsake and a craft to take home, with princess makeovers and accessories on sale.
Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships to community education youth enrichment classes, as well as leadership training for the Youth Connection Council, the group of District 196 secondary students that is sponsoring the dance.
