Second Nanne grandson commits to Gophers

Minnetonka junior Vinni Lettieri -- son of former soccer standout Tino Lettieri and grandson of Lou Nanne -- verbally committed to play hockey for the Gophers, Nanne confirmed Wednesday. Edina junior Louie Nanne, another grandson of Lou Nanne, committed early this week.

• Eden Prairie senior forward Jackie Johnson verbally committed to play for the Gophers women's basketball team. The 6-2 Johnson averaged 14.2 points as a junior for the Eagles.
