Gophers at a glance: The second-ranked Gophers (5-1 overall and WCHA) are led in scoring by senior forward Grace Zumwinkle with five goals and one assist for six points, followed by junior forward Emily Oden (1-4-5). Goalie Lauren Bench, a graduate transfer from Bemidji State, is 4-1 with a 1.21 goals-against average and .965 save percentage. … The Gophers lead the all-time series 93-3-3 — Thursday will be the 100th meeting — and have won the past 14 games.
Huskies at a glance: St. Cloud State (2-4) also last played Dec. 11, losing 3-2 in overtime at Bemidji State. The Huskies are 18-for-19 on the penalty kill, but 0-for-19 on the power play.
