Gophers at a glance: The second-ranked Gophers (5-1 overall and WCHA) are led in scoring by senior forward Grace Zumwinkle with five goals and one assist for six points, followed by junior forward Emily Oden (1-4-5). Goalie Lauren Bench, a graduate transfer from Bemidji State, is 4-1 with a 1.21 goals-against average and .965 save percentage. … The Gophers lead the all-time series 93-3-3 — Thursday will be the 100th meeting — and have won the past 14 games.

Huskies at a glance: St. Cloud State (2-4) also last played Dec. 11, losing 3-2 in overtime at Bemidji State. The Huskies are 18-for-19 on the penalty kill, but 0-for-19 on the power play. Junior forward Jenniina Nylund leads SCSU in scoring (3-2-5), with freshman forward Emma Gentry (2-1-3) and sophomore forward Klara Hymlarova (1-2-3) tied for second. Senior Emma Polusny (1-2, 2.85, .922) and freshman Sanni Ahola (1-2, 3.17, .920) each have three starts.
