Series preview: Wisconsin at Gophers hockey
8:10 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday at Mariucci Arena
TV/radio/live stream: BTN on Friday and FSN on Saturday; 1500-AM both nights; BTN2Go both nights
Gophers at a glance: The Gophers (10-7-1, 1-2-1 Big Ten) are 3-6-1 in their past 10 games and coming off a pair of losses at Michigan. Their defense gave up 11 goals in two games. Coach Don Lucia spent the week reshuffling line combinations, hoping to re-energize this bunch.
Wisconsin at a glance: The Badgers (2-12-2, 0-2-0) are a young team that has shown signs of hope with a 1-2-1 record against top five-ranked foes the past two weekends. Goalie Joel Rumpel has been the occasional bright spot. A victory or two this weekend would help numb the Badgers' pain.

A 16-0 run and Annika Stewart’s three-pointer cut the lead to three with 20 seconds remaining, but the No. 8 Terrapins held off the No. 24 Gophers at the free-throw line from there for a 99-92 victory.
