Alaskan sea otter pups adjust to new home at Minnesota Zoo
The two female pups turned over to Alaska SeaLife Center were transported by Minnesota Zoo staff to Apple Valley in a cargo plane in October. The pups are receiving round the clock care by zoo staff and will eventually join the three males living at the zoo.

Guilty verdict in the murder of Deshaun Hill Jr.
After an hour of deliberation, the jury found Cody Fohrenkam, 30, guilty of two counts of second-degree murder in the Feb. 9, 2022 shooting of Hill after the two randomly crossed paths on a north Minneapolis sidewalk while Hill walked to the bus stop.
