Shooting in St. Paul's Frogtown overnight leaves one wounded

A young St. Paul man shot in the Frogtown neighborhood early Saturday is recovering from non-critical wounds at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Police were called to a shooting around midnight Saturday in the 600 block of N. Virginia Street in St. Paul. The incident occurred at a house party with a large number of people, police spokesman Howie Padilla said, and the man was shot multiple times.

Police have some suspect information but no arrests have been made, Padilla said. The incident remains under investigation.
