Simon Peter Groebner is Travel editor for the Minnesota Star Tribune, finally giving him an answer to the question, "What are you going to do with that geography degree?" His general approach to travel is to go to a country/state/region and ask, "Where is the weird island?" He lives in Minneapolis and enjoys cycling, sailing and the Twin Cities arts scene. As special sections editor, he also produces such issues as The Good Life, State Fair Guide and Top Workplaces. Previously he was editor of Vita.mn, the Star Tribune's entertainment magazine, and entertainment editor for StarTribune.com.
