A single-engine aircraft caught on fire and was extinguished in a few minutes Thursday at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. No one was on board the plane, and there were no injuries reported.

The fire occurred on a noncommercial aircraft near the Signature Flight ramp, where corporate jets and single-owned aircraft are based, said Melissa Scovronski, Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesperson.

The cause of the fire could not be determined.
