Spotlight: Maple Grove Community Center New Year's Eve event

LASSO THE NEW YEAR, PARDNER

Monday: "Wild West" is this year's theme for the Maple Grove Community Center's annual Family New Year's Eve event. Wear your cowboy boots and hats and bring your family and friends for a night of fun. Many activities will be available, including swimming, crafts, ice skating, inflatable rides, karaoke, the "Guitar Hero" game, treats and dancing. Just don't back into the cactus! The evening ends with a huge balloon drop at 9:45 p.m. (6-10 p.m. Mon. $9. Tickets available through 4 p.m. Mon. Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road, Maple Grove. 763-494-6500.)
