Opening

Blue Man Group has been entertaining audiences with its blend of one-world anonymity and splatter art for more than two decades. The troupe, which has sit-down companies in New York, Las Vegas and Chicago, among other cities, mixes whiz-bang technology with mime for multimedia shows that combine rock concert with fair amusement. I saw the troupe's entertaining show in Chicago last month. The updates include an iPad-style computer screen and percussion in buckets of paint. What I saw gave me the same rush I get from eating cotton candy. (8 p.m. Fri., 2 & 8 p.m. Sat., 1 & 6:30 p.m. Sun. Ends June 24. $35-$80. Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., 1-800-982-2787 or www.hennepintheatretrust.org.)
