State puts online vehicle tab renewal on hold

With the shutdown still hours away, some state services were already blinking off.

With the shutdown still hours away, some state services were already blinking off. People who visited the Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services website Thursday were not able to renew their auto tabs. Instead, they were greeting by this message: "This site has been temporarily disabled due to a State of Minnesota government shutdown. We apologize for any inconvenience resulting from this temporary change."
