Here we go.

You should like Stu's Hunt Down, if for no other reason than it contains no terrible stats about the Twins (we can take a hint. NO MORE!) ----------
The Huntdown Name: Mike Hohensee Claim to Fame, Minnesota: a juco transfer from Mt. San Antonio College, Hohensee quarterbacked the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 1981 and 1982, setting records at the time for single-game (444) and single-season (2,412) passing yards. Can also claim to have played in the last game at Memorial Stadium and the first game at the Metrodome. Claim to Fame, Everywhere Else: I don't know if there's a record for most professional football leagues played in, but if so, Hohensee is in the conversation. To wit: USFL, CFL, replacement player for the Bears during the 1987 NFL strike, and the AFL. His tenure in arena football would lead him to a coaching career in the league, where he quickly established himself as the head coach of the Chicago Rush, leading the team to numerous playoff appearances and a victory in ArenaBowl XX over Jay Gruden's Orlando Predators. Where He Is Now: this press release indicates that the "Arena Football League coaching legend" is now the head coach of the Philadelphia Soul, with a pull quote from Soul co-owner Ron Jaworski and everything. Is He On Twitter: as noted by loyal RandBall reader and shiftless wanderer "azgginchi," Hohensee does have a Twitter account. Feel free to follow CoachHo at your leisure. Glorious Randomness: Hohensee's roommate and his main competitor for QB duties with the Bears? Sean Payton. DID YOU KNOW: as you can imagine, 4-year starter Adam Weber is now the Golden Gophers career leader in passing yards at 10,500 and counting, which works out to exactly 25 yards for each of his offensive coordinators. HOWEVAH: can you name the quarterback who eclipsed Hohensee's single-game record without using the Googles?
