• Increased 16 percent from fall 2008 to fall 2009 in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system
• Made up 16.6 percent of entering students (freshmen and transfers) enrolled in Minnesota's private, nonprofit colleges this fall
• Made up 8.8 percent of that same group 10 years ago
• Constituted 20.4 percent of entering students at the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campuses.
