Suspect arrested after three men shot, wounded in Minneapolis
The victims, all men, suffered noncritical wounds, police said.
Police spokesman Corey Schmidt said an officer heard gunshots at 3 p.m. near 24th Street and 10th Avenue S., south of downtown, and with the help of nearby citizens stopped a suspect vehicle before it could leave the area. The suspect was arrested.
Two victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, one walked to Children's Minnesota Minneapolis Hospital, and one was treated at the scene and released, police said.
Authorities recovered two guns at the scene. Investigators are looking into surveillance video in the area that may have captured the shooting.
Authorities initially reported four victims but later revised the total as the investigation continued.
