The word of the week: Sometimes it's not better to sleep on it

September 5, 2017 at 3:02PM

Definition: To fall asleep and saw logs while someone's talking to you (Merriam-Webster online).

Sample usage: "Ow! What? Why did you hit me? I wasn't igsnoring you, I heard every word." (Pause.) "What time is it?"

Popularity: It's possible that longtime couples experience igsnoring, but this seems to be something that happens on TV sitcoms. Note: Whenever you snore, you're ignoring someone.
