Three Gophers players — Samantha Seliger-Swenson, Stephanie Samedy and Regan Pittman — were named Wednesday to the All-America teams announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Seliger-Swenson, a senior setter, and Samedy, a sophomore right-side hitter, made the first team. Pittman, a redshirt sophomore middle blocker, was named to the second team. Three other Gophers — junior outside hitter Alexis Hart, redshirt junior middle blocker Taylor Morgan and freshman outside hitter Adanna Rollins — were honorable mention.

Seliger-Swenson, of Minnetonka, became the first Gopher to earn All-America honors in all four years of her career. She finished with 1,203 assists this season and 5,674 for her career, fourth-most in Gophers history.
