WEST SALEM, WIS. – Authorities have released the names of three men found dead Friday in a western Wisconsin quarry. Their deaths are being investigated as a triple homicide.

The men — Peng Lor, 24, Nemo Yang, 24, and Trevor J. Maloney, 23 — died as a result of a "targeted act," according to Sheriff Jeffrey Wolf, WXOW-TV in La Crosse reported.

Authorities have not released the cause of their deaths, saying that autopsies were being performed Saturday in Rochester, Minn.

Two workers found the bodies about 5 a.m. Friday at the entrance to the Milestone Quarry near West Salem, a few miles from the Minnesota border.

None of the victims had a permanent address, but all frequently resided in and around the La Crosse area, police told WXOW. Maloney had previous Wisconsin addresses in Cashton and Sparta.

Wolf said authorities spent Friday gathering evidence at the scene, which he described as "complex."

No vehicles were found at the quarry when the bodies were discovered.

The sheriff said he believes the three men were killed sometime after dark on Thursday and before 5 a.m. Friday.

Investigators want to see if any cameras recorded vehicles on County Hwys. M and S during that time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the sheriff's non-emergency line, 608-785-5942.

"We are getting a lot of information. It's coming very fast," Wolf said. "We are following up on a number of leads."
