Three things to watch for this week
• As a result of Saturday's victory, the Gophers are bowl-eligible. Get ready to study your bowl projections all week. I've seen Quick Lane (Detroit) and Pinstripe (New York) so far.
• The Wolves have three big home games coming up: Spurs (Wednesday), Celtics (Saturday) and Rockets (next Monday).
• Lindsay Whalen's Gophers women's basketball team will get its best test so far when it hosts Syracuse on Thursday. Both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25.
