Paulus rallies Duke to victory • NO. 3 DUKE 92, N.C. STATE 72: Greg Paulus scored 22 points, including a burst of three three-pointers early in the second half, to rally the Blue Devils (18-1, 6-0 ACC) to victory against the visiting Wolfpack. Gavin Grant scored 26 points for the Wolfpack (13-7, 2-4).

NO. 4 NORTH CAROLINA 91, BOSTON COLLEGE 69: Tyler Hansbrough scored 18 points and Deon Thompson 17 as the Tar Heels (20-1, 5-1 ACC) beat the visiting Eagles.

CALIFORNIA 69, NO. 9 WASHING- TON ST. 64: Ryan Anderson scored 27 points as the visiting Golden Bears (12-7, Pac-10) 3-5) upset the Cougars (17-3, 5-3).

Smith helps Illini upset Ohio State • ILLINOIS 68, NO. 19 OHIO STATE 64: Bloomington Kennedy graduate Jenna Smith had a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Illini (12-9, 4-6 Big Ten) beat the visiting Buckeyes (16-5, 7-3) and dropped them into a three-way tie for first place with Purdue and Iowa.

MICHIGAN STATE 61, MICHIGAN 58: Allyssa DeHaan scored 15 points as the Spartans (13-10, 5-6 Big Ten) beat the visiting Wolverines (12-8, 5-5).

INDIANA 86, WISCONSIN 62: Whitney Thomas scored 16 points and Amber Jackson and Haylie Linn 15 as the Hoosiers (13-8, 6-3 Big Ten) beat the Badgers (10-10, 3-7).

IOWA 70, NORTHWESTERN 55: Megan Skouby had 23 points and seven rebounds as the visiting Hawkeyes (14-7, 7-3 Big Ten) beat the Wildcats (4-17, 0-9).
