Wolves preview: G D'Angelo Russell returned to the lineup after knee surgery Monday to spark a 116-106 victory over Sacramento with 25 points, 13 in the fourth quarter. … C Karl-Anthony Towns had his 17th 20-point, 10-rebound night. He has a three-pointer in a franchise-record 66 consecutive games. … G Malik Beasley (hamstring) is lost to the team for four to six weeks. G Jaylen Nowell (tibia) is also out. … The Wolves (13-38) are 5-21 on the road and 1-9 vs. East teams in road games.

Pacers preview: Indiana lost at home 113-97 to the Bulls on Tuesday night. … The Pacers beat the Wolves 134-128 in overtime at Target Center on Feb. 17. … G Malcolm Brogdon (hip), G Jeremy Lamb (toe) and C Domantas Sabonis (ankle) are questionable and F T.J. Warren (foot) is out. … Brogdon (22.1 points per game) and Sabonis (19.9) are the team's leading scorers. … The Pacers (22-26) are one spot out of the final East playoff berth but are better on the road (14-12) than at home (8-14).
