Of course Tom Hanks shows up on Univision dancing over the weather report to promote his new movie; when hasn't he?
Saw a preview for Hanks' new movie before "Super 8". I'd prefer if the entire movie was about Hanks as a Wal-Mart greeter, instead of a guy who gets fired because he doesn't have a college degree, and goes to college to learn things - but ends up teaching Life Lessons and reviving the Passions and Dedication of a burned-out teacher who looks like Julia Roberts. That would seem to be a more interesting movie. But Hanks will redeem this, like he redeems anything. You'd root for him if he was an alien hanging on the side of Apollo 13 ripping out parts. Well, I'm sure he has a good reason. It's Tom Hanks.
