Tuesday Tasting: Villa Wolf Pinot Gris 2009

My focus is good wine on a budget for everyday people. So every Tuesday I'll post a wine-of-the-moment with simple tasting notes and a recipe pairing. They notes won't be overly detailed or profound, but they're not meant to be. Instead, they're meant to be fun with a bit of insight into some bottles worth exploring. Enjoy!

Villa Wolf Pinot Gris 2009

You know you want a t-shirt with a wolf howling on it. But you also know you'll be teased mercilessly—and rightfully so. You can channel that inner howl, however, by turning to Villa Wolf Pinot Gris, a full-bodied, dry white with fresh, unoaked fruit and a crisp texture. But be careful: those pheromones are dangerous, and with this bottle in tow, you're sure to be Alpha.
