According to a person familiar with ABC's plans for the drama, next season will be its last. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the network and producers hadn't authorized public comment. ABC, which is scheduled to discuss its fall schedule at a news conference Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011 declined comment.

Sunday

Poor Teri Hatcher. For the umpteenth time, the plot of "Desperate Housewives" (8 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) revolves around her taking off her clothes. This time, it's for her art class. Skip this tired endeavor, and enjoy Hatcher in a more challenging setting, providing the voices of good and evil in 2009's animated film "Coraline" (7 p.m., ABC Family).

Monday

In a new episode of "Mike & Molly" (8:31 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), Molly (Melissa McCarthy) argues with her family about where to showcase her Emmy. She wants it on the mantel; they want it on top of the television. Meanwhile, Mike (Billy Gardell) wonders if he's still part of the show.

Tuesday

In "The Real Rocky" (7 p.m., ESPN), former heavyweight fighter Chuck Wepner complains that he didn't get proper credit -- or a financial cut -- from Sylvester Stallone for serving as the inspiration for Rocky Balboa. Wepner goes on to demand retribution from anyone serving Rocky Road ice cream.

Wednesday

The Thing isn't the only creature hiding under the ice. A new edition of "Nova" (8 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) looks at the 1991 discovery of Otzi the Iceman, whose body was frozen in an Italian glacier. The autopsy on the 5,000-year-old man reveals a lot about the Copper Age, like the fact that guys back then liked to be called "Otzi."

Thursday

Morris Day and the Time do their best to get Jay Leno to do "The Bird" when they perform on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (10:35 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). The Minneapolis-born band actually now goes by the Original 7ven, but it still features Day, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and funky dance moves.
