TV picks for Jan. 7: 'Intelligence,' 'Being Mary Jane,' 'Justified'
Josh Holloway ("Lost") and Marg Helgenberger ("CSI") return to prime-time with "Intelligence" (8 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4). A high-tech operative gets implanted with a super-computer microchip that provides him access to the global grid. Sounds like a serious version of "Chuck."
Look for the Union label
Gabrielle Union lost out to Kerry Washington for the lead role in "Scandal," but she's landed on her feet with "Being Mary Jane" (9 p.m., BET), a new drama about a cable news anchor with oodles of success at work, but little luck when it comes to raising a family of her own.
Back on the beat
U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, TV's most underappreciated gunslinger, returns for a new season of "Justified" (9 p.m., FX), the first without the spiritual guidance of co-creator Elmore Leonard. Minnesota native James LeGros is back as an all-knowing bartender for a batch of episodes.
