Remember the time

Any objections Paris Jackson had to past biopics about her father will most likely be quelled by "Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland," a highly sympathetic take on the King of Pop's final months, seen through the eyes of his loyal bodyguards. Navi, a world-renowned impersonator, certainly looks the part, but the movie would have been just as well off animating a wax figure from Madame Tussauds.

Leaving the flock

The docuseries "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath," which started as a crusade, is now a big enough hit to justify a two-hour special, "Merchant of Fear," in which guests share their experiences with the Church of Scientology.

8 p.m., A&E

Parting is such sweet sorrow

Executive producer Shonda Rhimes deserves props for trying to serve her loyalists a take on "Romeo and Juliet," but when your main characters — spoiler alert! — croak before the first episode of "Still Star-Crossed" is over, you've got trouble. Wooden dialogue and bloodlines that would give Henry Louis Gates Jr. a migraine don't help.
