Drugs. A 26-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at Valley View Road and Clover Ridge.

FRIDLEY

DEC. 3

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a business parking lot in the 100 block of NE. 83rd Avenue. The caller believed the driver of the vehicle was selling drugs. The officer made contact with the driver, who stated he was attempting to catch his girlfriend cheating on him. He was advised not to park there.

LAKE ELMO

DEC. 3

Suspicious activity. A deputy conducting extra patrol due to recent car break-ins located an occupied vehicle parked near new construction in the area of Julia Avenue and Hudson Boulevard. The driver was ID'd as the owner of the vehicle. He had no clear reason to be in the area and was advised about trespassing and told to leave.

LAKEVILLE

WEEK OF DEC. 6-12

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a male getting out of his vehicle and urinating in the bushes in the 1600 block of Pilot Knob Road. The vehicle was located and stopped. A 43-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving.

LAUDERDALE

DEC. 11

Fleeing in a motor vehicle. Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Ione Street and Walnut Street and tried to pull it over. The vehicle fled and was not pursued.

MAHTOMEDI

NOV. 30

Neighbor dispute. An ongoing issue of children riding ATVs on the street was reported in the 1000 block of Summit Avenue. It was determined the ATV was a children's toy ATV and the children were being supervised by an adult.

MAPLE GROVE

DEC. 6

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle going to mailboxes in the 6700 block of Everest Lane. The suspicious person was found to be a newspaper delivery person.

MINNETRISTA

DEC. 17

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in their neighbor's driveway on Foxglove Circle. The vehicle belonged to the neighbor's friend.

NEW BRIGHTON

DEC. 9

Theft. An unattended vehicle left running was reported stolen in the 900 block of Cessna Drive.

PRIOR LAKE

DEC. 17

Drugs. A 32-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for drug possession, obstruction with force, disorderly conduct and refusing to leave the Mystic Lake Hotel at 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.

RAMSEY

DEC. 9

Suspicious activity. An officer was responding to a report of someone knocking on a resident's back door in the 15200 block of NW. Flourine Street. With the officer en route, the resident called back to say they knew the person and assistance was not needed.

DEC. 10

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of an alpaca in a field with no fence at NW. 167th Avenue and NW. Radium Street. The caller was concerned the alpaca would venture out on the road. The officer could not find the alpaca.

SHAKOPEE

DEC. 16

Driving violations. A 36-year-old Crystal man was arrested for fleeing police in a motor vehicle, fleeing police on foot, driving after revocation, failure to signal a turn and warrants from six different counties following a traffic stop on Prairie Court.

DEC. 19

Drugs. A 28-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, providing false information to police and outstanding warrants from two counties at County Road 83 and Eagle Creek Boulevard.

Neighbor dispute. A resident in the 300 block of Chippenham Lane reported her neighbor constantly yells at her seven-month-old dog and did it again for no reason.
