They have not posted a winning record at Kauffman Stadium since 2012. … LF Eddie Rosario has a hit in seven consecutive games, his fourth streak at least that long in 2018, and is batting .419 (13-for-31) in that span. He also has scored a run in five in a row, his third such streak this year. … 1B Joe Mauer has 240 career hits against the Royals, more than any other opponent.
