The Twins and Red Sox prepare to play as the skies darken

Wind is blowing from right to left - although the flags in right field occassionally turn in toward home plate.

Joe Mauer has a seven-game hitting streak and walked in his only plate appearance on Friday.

Orlando Hudson was a popular interview subject today after a yahoo.com report had him implying that racism has played a part in Jermaine Dye not finding a team. He reiterated his stand on Thursday and added, on the eve of Jackie Robinson Day, that baseball still has work to do.

Sorry this is late. Spent pre-game gathering rankings from the national media on their favorite ballparks. The consensus is that Target Field is the third or fourth best park in baseball. More on that later this week.
