Ventura's new TV gig heartily mocked

April 8, 2010 at 8:17PM

Jesse Ventura, the governor-turned-conpsiracy theorist, has been busy hawking his new TV show and book, both of which are about (what else?) conspiracies.

However, one conspriacy he hasn't examined is the one shrouding professional wrestling, his first career -- and the launching pad for his enduring celebrity. Until now. Ventura (actually "Jesse Ventura," a lookalike) is now starring in a fake episode of "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura," courtesy of the folks at Funny or Die.

Thanks to the limitations of the Strib's blog software, the video can't be embedded here, but here's a link. Worth a look. (Some language NSFW.)
