The Vikings have signed former Bears defensive tackle Will Sutton.

Sutton, Chicago's third-round pick in 2014, was released by the Bears last week after he started 18 games for them over his first three NFL seasons. He played in eight games in 2016 before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. The 25-year-old has recorded 60 career tackles with no sacks.

Sutton, who went to Arizona State, is listed at 6-foot-1 and 290 pounds.

To make room for Sutton, the Vikings waived 25-year-old defensive tackle Toby Johnson. Johnson had two tackles in his two games last season.
