The Vikings, back to work at Winter Park after Memorial Day weekend, continued to get their 2017 draft class under contract today.

Throughout the day, they announced that the following players had signed rookie contracts: third-round center Pat Elflein, sixth-round tight end Bucky Hodges, seventh-round linebacker Elijah Lee, seventh-round wide receiver Stacy Coley and seventh-round safety Jack Tocho.

That's now 10 of their 11 draft picks under contract.

The only Vikings draft pick who has yet to put pen to paper is running back Dalvin Cook, a second-round selection who was the team's top pick a month ago. But it shouldn't be long until Cook signs, too.

In other news, the Vikings have signed former Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong, who will play safety for the Vikings. Amstrong, who threw for 2,180 yards for the Huskers in 2016 and rushed for 512, participated on a tryout basis in rookie minicamp a few weeks ago.

To make room for the rookie, the Vikings waived wide receiver Mitch Mathews. Mathews signed here just a couple of months ago.
