Villanova's road to the NCAA championship

Villanova became the fourth team to win the national championship with six double-digit victories, and the first since North Carolina in 2009. Along the way, the Wildcats set NCAA records for most three-pointers in a tournament (76) and most in a tournament game (18). Their season total of 464 also is a record. A look at their run to the title:

No. 16 seed Radford:Won by 26 (87-61), shot 14-for-27 (51.9%) from three-point range

No. 9 Alabama:Won by 23 (81-58), shot17-for-41 (41.5%) from three-point range

No. 5 West Virginia:Won by 12 (90-78), shot13-for-24 (54.2%) from three-point range

No. 3 Texas Tech:Won by 12 (71-59), shot4-for-24 (16.7%) from three-point range

No. 1 Kansas:Won by 16 (95-79), shot18-for- 40 (45.0%) from three-point range

No. 3 Michigan:Won by 17 (79-62), shot10-for-27 (37.0%) from three-point range
