While we're awaiting Wednesday's lineup announcement for Rhymesayers' fourth annual Soundset festival at Canterbury Park on May 29, organizers of the Vans Warped Tour have released the details of their 17th annual (!) outing, which will arrive to the Shakopee horse track a few weeks earlier than usual on July 10. Among the bands down for the local date are Less Than Jake, Pepper, the Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack!, Relient K, Simple Plan, A Day to Remember and one band teenagers hope their parents won't see advertised, D.R.U.G.S. A couple bands from outside the skater-punk/emo-rock world are also on the bill: mighty twang-rockers Lucero and classic-rock throwbacks Foxy Shazam. Other names include the Aggrolites, Go Radio, the Wonder Years, the Expendables, Unwritten Law, the Ready Set, I Set My Friends on Fire, the Dance Party, Of Mice and Men, Big D & the Kids Table, August Burns Red, Black Veil Brides and Terrible Things.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $36.75 at all Down in the Valley locations or through www.Ticketweb.com, or call 1-866-468-3401.
