Lost bicyclist/Check welfare. A woman biking from Maplewood to Woodbury called authorities after realizing she was lost in the area of 40th Street and Trading Post Trail. She told a deputy she had been riding for three hours. She requested and was given a ride to her home.

SEPT. 20
Loud music/band. A deputy asked a small band playing at a fall get together in the 10000 block of Jody Avenue Court to lower the noise because of a complaint. They complied.
HUGO
SEPT. 21
Suspicious situation. A resident in the 14000 block of Glenbrook Avenue let authorities know someone knocked on their door the previous night after a high-speed chase in the area.
LAKE ELMO
SEPT. 16
Driving complaint. A car being driven erratically was reported in the 11000 block of Stillwater Boulevard. The complainant told authorities the driver was angry at a child inside the vehicle and pulled into a parking lot in the area. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
SEPT. 18
Suspicious activity. After colliding with a deer in the 2800 block of Manning Avenue a driver was given citations for an instructional permit violation and not having insurance.

Possible jumper. A man was reported on a bridge barrier over Hwy. I-94. When Washington County Sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene members of the Hudson Police Department had gotten the man to walk away from the rail. After initially denying it, he admitted he was on the bridge to jump.
LANDFALL

Suspicious situation. Flickering lights were reported at the St. Paul Harley Davidson, 2899 Hudson Blvd. The caller thought the lights might be code for someone having been taken hostage. A deputy determined motion light sensors on several sides of the building had been triggered but the store was secure.
MAHTOMEDI
SEPT. 22
Neighbor complaint. A homeowner in the 1000 block of Hallam Avenue was satisfied with a deputy's explanation of the Mahtomedi noise ordinance after complaining about his neighbor using a leaf blower.
MAY TOWNSHIP
SEPT. 19
Animal concern. Someone heard dogs barking inside a cabin in the area of Margo Avenue and May Avenue and was concerned they might have been abandoned. While a deputy checked on the report, the owners returned. They said they had gone to Stillwater to eat.
WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP
SEPT. 17
Suspicious activity. Three gunshots were heard and three small holes were found in a road construction sign in the 700 block of Neal Avenue.
WOODBURY
SEPT. 19
Theft. Two women were arrested after leaving Kohl's, 7100 Valley Creek Plaza, with $610 worth of clothing without paying. The two were known shoplifters and had been monitored in the store.
SEPT. 20
Suspicious activity. A resident on Leeward Trail called police after receiving at least five packages on her doorstep with her address and someone else's name. An officer determined the packages were for someone who lives behind the complainant.
Suspicious activity. Police responded to a report of duck waste in a sandbox in the 9000 block of Newcastle Road. An officer determined it was probably from a cat and advised the homeowner to call if they see the cat in the area.
