Garnett, the best player in franchise history, turned 40 this summer and played sparingly in the parts of two seasons back in Minnesota.
A retirement announcement was expected soon after the report, and this appears to be it. The video ends, after KG says "Stay tuned," with closing title screens "Farewell" and "Thank you for the journey."
Later Friday night, Wolves second-year player Karl Anthony Towns changed his Twitter and Instagram account photos to all black. On Instagram, Towns wrote to Garnett: 'I'll take it from here'
Home for the holidays? Not the Wolves, who are heading for Atlanta, Dallas and Houston.
