Web gem: hiphopdx

When it comes to news, reviews and interviews, there are dozens of websites dedicated to hip-hop music and its culture. Of the top-tiered sites, hiphopdx is the best. It gathers any daily news pertaining to the rap world and gets interviews with its biggest stars. But the one thing that separates it from other sites is its commitment to also covering underground/independent music. Right next to an interview with a big-name rapper like Ludacris you'll find news on Minneapolis' own Doomtree and Atmosphere (whose "When Life Gives You Lemons" was a runner-up for the website's album of the year).
