Longville Bait reports Woman Lake is producing largemouth bass on sucker minnows in 18 to 25 feet

Rainy Lake

There is a hot walleye bite going on in 25 to 30 feet using Lindy Rigs, leeches and nightcrawlers, according to Rainy Lake One Stop. Largemouth bass are hitting on the deep weed edges and rock piles using Rapalas. Crappie action is picking up in Black Bay in various depths using tubes and jigs.

Longville area

Longville Bait reports Woman Lake is producing largemouth bass on sucker minnows in 18 to 25 feet, northern using large sucker minnows or spinner baits in 10 to 20 feet and crappies using crappie minnows in varied depths. Crappies also are hitting in Wabedo using crappie minnows and wax worms.

Lake Osakis

Fisherman's Corner reports walleye action on Bower's flats and on the sand flats using nightcrawlers and redtails and shiner minnows. The half-mile clam bed and area in front of the Sauk outlet is producing sunfish using small leeches, wax worms and nightcrawler pieces. Northern, bass and crappies are slow.

Chisago City area

There is walleye action on nightcrawler halves in Green Lake in 16 feet near the channel and in Chisago at night in 25 feet on the weed edges, according to Frankie's Bait. Panfish are suspended off the deeper basins in area lakes and hitting on small crappie minnows and wax worms.

Red Wing-Lake Pepin

4-Season Bait reports walleye action in 15-18 feet trolling No. 7 Rapalas. Panfish are hitting in varied depths using live bait, and northern are hitting on sucker minnows at the river entries.

Mankato area

Sunfish and crappies are hitting on small jigs and wax worms in Washington in 8 feet and Madison in 8-14 feet, according to The Bobber Shop. There is some walleye action in Washington casting crank baits and rattle traps off the weed edges.
