Burglary. A 2012 Toyota Prius and currency, together valued at $24,000, were stolen from the 6300 block of Xerxes Avenue S.

Theft. A 2013 Toyota Highlander valued at $29,000 was stolen from the 5800 block of York Avenue S.
Excelsior
JUNE 17
Disorderly conduct. A 34-year-old Excelsior man was cited for disorderly conduct after he urinated on a vehicle parked on West Drive.
JUNE 21
Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Mill Street and Excelsior Boulevard. An 18-year-old Carver man was cited for open bottle, an 18-year-old Chanhassen man was cited for underage consumption and an 18-year-old Chaska man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
JUNE 22
Drugs. A 20-year-old Chaska woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after her vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation at 2nd Avenue and Water Street.
Independence
JUNE 20
Animal complaint. A resident in the 2000 block of Becker Road reported seeing a rooster that had moved into a wooded area near his house. No missing roosters were reported.
Maple Grove
JUNE 13
Suspicious activity. A resident in the 7900 block of Kimberly Lane reported that someone had rung their doorbell and then left. Officers arrived and found a suitcase on the front step. The resident said it had been missing after a recent flight and must have been dropped off.
Medina
JUNE 20
Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of loose llamas in the 1200 block of Phillips Drive. Officers were able to locate the llamas and their owner, who agreed to round them up.
JUNE 21
Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle left partly in a ditch at Hackamore Road and Butterworth Lane. They recognized the vehicle from a previous contact as belonging to a person who keeps beehives in the wooded area nearby.

Assist public. Officers came upon a 7-year-old boy biking on Highway 7, and helped him make his way home.

Theft. A female reported that $3,000 in cash was stolen from her vehicle in the 3100 block of Campus Drive.

Burglary. Several firearms and other items were stolen from a home in the 7300 block of Elliot Avenue S.

Burglary. A shotgun, nail gun and cash were stolen from a home in the 6500 block of Queen Avenue S.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Lilah Lane. A 17-year-old Excelsior boy was cited for possession of marijuana and tobacco.
