CARVER

SEPT. 7

Theft. A 17-year-old Glencoe boy was cited for theft after he was caught shoplifting at Mills Fleet Farm, 1935 Levi Griffin Road.

CORCORAN

AUG. 29

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a male walking in a ditch at Cain Road and County Road 117. They located the male, who said he was delivering food in the area.

SEPT. 7

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 21200 block of Larkin Road reported that a man had been driving back and forth and was now outside and leaning against his car. The man told officers that he was watching the Northern Lights.

EDINA

SEPT. 4

Theft. A 2005 Harley Davidson Super Glide valued at $10,000 was stolen from the 4000 block of Parklawn Avenue.

SEPT. 6

Drugs. A 24-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in the 7000 block of Normandale Road.

INDEPENDENCE

SEPT. 5

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 3100 block of Brie-Kessel Road reported finding a dog buried in the woods with only its eyes and snout showing. Officers met with homeowners and discovered it was a stuffed animal.

MAPLE GROVE

SEPT. 2

Theft. Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 10400 block of Quaker Lane.

MEDINA

SEPT. 7

Theft. A riding lawn mower was stolen from Lythrum Lane and Wild Meadows Drive.MEDINA

Disturbance. A resident reported that a street sweeper was just pushing around dirt but not cleaning the street in the 600 block of Shawnee Woods Road.

MINNETRISTA

SEPT. 4

Weapon. Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Main Street and ordered five juveniles to step out of it after a gun was found in the glove box. After determining it was an airsoft gun, they cited a 16-year-old boy for speeding and violating his provisional license.

PLYMOUTH

SEPT. 3

Burglary. Cash and a credit card were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Nathan Lane. Entry was gained through an unlocked patio door.

RICHFIELD

AUG. 31

Weapon. Officers confiscated brass knuckles from a 23-year-old Newport woman and cited her for possession of a dangerous weapon following a traffic stop at E. 74th Street and Cedar Avenue S.

Drunken driving. A 53-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop at 76th Street E. and Portland Avenue S. A 35-year-old Richfield man in the vehicle was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

SEPT. 4

Drugs. Officers responded to a driving complaint at W. 76th Street and Penn Avenue S. They stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, a 43-year-old Bloomington woman, for possession of methamphetamine, obstructing the legal process and possession of drug paraphernalia.
