West metro school briefs: Information session on gifted program set

Parents of children in the Minnetonka School District can learn more about a program for gifted students at an information session slated for Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Minnetonka District Service Center.

The Navigator program is designed for exceptionally gifted students in grades 2-5.

High school choir, orchestra to perform

The Minnetonka High School orchestra and choir will be performing free holiday concerts at the Minnetonka Arts Center located at 18285 Hwy. 7.

On Thursday, the orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. The choir will perform Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. both days.

Robbinsdale

Plymouth Middle School presents play

Plymouth Middle School will perform "Once Upon a Mattress" at Robbinsdale Middle School at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
