Wet Pattern to Continue over Southeast China

The unusually wet weather across southeastern China shows no signs ofwaning.According to AccuWeather.com meteorologists, widespread moderate to heavyrainfall is likely from the provinces of Zhejiang to southern Sichuan onsouthward through the weekend.

Flooding and mudslides will remain a concern for several weeks. Reutersreported on Monday that 53 people have been killed in the Guangxi region ofsoutheastern China between May 31 and June 2.

Well above-normal rainfall will continue across southeastern China throughnext week. No relief from the wet pattern is expected over the next 10-15days.
