• Jake Thomas Patterson, 21, of Gordon, Wis., is being held in the Barron County jail. He is expected to be charged Monday with two counts of first-degree homicide and one count of kidnapping. He was pulled over near where Jayme Closs was found and arrested thanks to a vehicle description she provided.

• Patterson targeted Jayme specifically and acted alone in abducting her, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said. District Attorney Brian Wright said he does not believe Patterson, who is unemployed and has no social media footprint, had any prior contact with the Closs family. Several guns were recovered from the home where Jayme was held, including a shotgun "consistent" with the gun used in the attack at the Closs home, Fitzgerald said.

• Patterson worked at the same plant as James and Denise Closs for a single day nearly three years ago before quitting, saying he was moving away.

• He has no criminal record. He graduated from the Northwood School District in Minong, Wis. Patterson's parents divorced in 2007, court records show.

• Patterson's father transferred the title of the cabin where Jayme was held to Superior Choice Credit Union on Oct. 23, eight days after the Oct. 15 attack at the Closs home. The cabin was appraised at $79,300.
