Preview: The Wild finishes off a back-to-back on the road against the Oilers. The team is 4-6-1 in the second test of these doubleheaders. Edmonton has won two consecutive games after dropping three in a row. Each of the Oilers' past three games have been decided by one goal.

Players to watch: Captain Connor McDavid ranks among NHL leaders in points with 81. Center Leon Draisaitl has eight points in his past eight games. Defenseman Kris Russell leads the NHL in blocked shots (200).

Numbers: The Wild fell 3-2 to the Oilers on Dec. 16. The team was 7-4-4 against Pacific Division teams before facing the Canucks. McDavid has 10 points in his past six games. Edmonton is 15-17-2 on home ice.

Injuries: Wild D Nick Seeler (right biceps strain and flu) isn't on the trip but could rejoin the Wild if the team needs a replacement because of injury.
