Wild update: The Wild has won four in a row and is on an eight-game point streak (7-0-1). This is the first time in Wild history the team has registered multiple point streaks of at least eight games in the same season; the team had a season-long nine-game point streak Nov. 21-Dec. 9. … The Wild leads the NHL in multi-goal comebacks with five and had a franchise-record six in 2006-07. In 11 of 12 road victories, the Wild has scored at least three goals. … The Wild beat the Islanders 5-2 when the teams met at Xcel Energy Center on Nov. 7.

Islanders update: The Islanders were supposed to play host to the Kraken on Saturday, but the game was postponed due to a weather-related state of emergency caused by a winter storm; that game is now scheduled for Wednesday. … Over the past 10 games, New York is 7-3. All but one of those games has been at the new UBS Arena, which opened on Nov. 20. … The Islanders are 13-2-2 when scoring at least three goals. C Mathew Barzal has a team-high 27 points, C Brock Nelson leads the team in goals (13) and former Wild LW Zach Parise has three goals and nine assists in 36 games.
