Wild-Vancouver game preview

Preview: The Canucks have won three games in regulation this season; six of their nine wins are in overtime or shootouts. They're 5-3-1 (three overtime/shootout wins) since an 0-8-1 winless streak. The Wild opened a stretch of five consecutive games on the road by blowing a third-period lead but rallying for a point in a shootout loss at St. Louis on Saturday.

Players to watch: Wild RW Charlie Coyle has three goals in his past two games and a team-high eight. C Mikko Koivu has a four-game point streak. W Mikael Granlund has 13 points in the past 16 games. The Canucks' Henrik Sedin has 54 assists and 67 points in 80 games vs. the Wild. He ranks first all-time against the Wild in assists and second in games played and points. His brother Daniel has 22 goals and 63 points in 77 meetings with Minnesota. He ranks second in assists and third in games played and points against the Wild.

Numbers: The Wild, 8-3 in its past 11 against the Canucks, is 4-1 in its past five in Vancouver after a four-year, 0-9-2 run. … The Canucks rank 29th in the NHL at 2.14 goals per game; the Wild leads the NHL at 1.95 goals against per game.

Injuries: Wild D Christian Folin (knee) and C Zac Dalpe (knee) are out. Canucks D Alex Edler (finger), D Chris Tanev (lower body), RW Jannik Hansek (ribs) and RW Derek Dorsett (upper body) are out.
