Wine deal: Domaine Saint-Vincent Brut Methode Champenoise

WINE

Quiz time: The sparkling wine Domaine Saint-Vincent Brut Methode Champenoise hails from (A) Languedoc, (B) Alsace, or (C) the French West Indies. The answer, of course, is New Mexico. This is the second label of the bubbly-meisters at the Gruet winery. It's simple and smooth, with lemon-lime overtones, and a way-better sparkler than $12 (often $10) usually yields. Have it with the usual sparkling-wine accompaniments, meaning everything from popcorn and caviar to sushi and strawberries.
