This week's WNBA power ratings are out. At the top, as everyone knew they would be, are the 7-0 Lynx. The league's only unbeaten team.

The Lynx are No. 1 in the power ratings, but they are not close to being the most exciting team, according to league's web site.

Moving up to No. 2, in wnba.com's latest ratings, are the L.A. Sparks. And here is the blurb on them:
The Lynx might tout the strongest record in the league right now, but the Sparks are easily the most exciting team to watch. Night after night, the tag-team explosive combo of Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike make this team exciting to watch. During the Sparks' last victory over the Storm, Ogwumike nailed a game-winning shot with just .02 seconds left. Expect MVP and Rookie of the Year talks to heat up for Parker and Ogwumike, respectively.
The Sparks are more exciting than the Lynx? Is that a joke?
In two of the last three games, the Lynx put on a clinic in the first half of crisp basketball: sharp shooting, fast breaks, precision passing. Fun to watch. But as the score mounts, it gets a little boring.
So what do the Lynx do? They let their opponent back in the game in the second half and get last-second wins. Bury an opponent, then give the other team life. Then win at the end.
The Lynx, in one game, can offer:
A floating jumper from Seimone Augustus ... a no-look pass by Lindsay Whalen ... a sweet-looking three from Maya Moore ... a soaring rebound from Rebekkah Brunson ... and an inspiration to all aging athletes, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, age 41, with her slo-mo moves.
The Lynx also make shots, shooting 50 percent or better in six of seven games. Maybe wnba.com should watch the Lynx again sometime.
* The players of the week in the WNBA this week are forward DeWanna Bonner of Phoenix and guard Ephianny Prince of Chicago.
* Indiana, after its loss to the New York Liberty on Sunday, falls to No. 3 in the power ratings and Chicago rises four spots to No. 4.
Their 28-point lead got trimmed to two late, but they held on in a Western Conference finals rematch that missed an injured Luka Doncic after halftime.
