Wolves update: The Wolves (22-49) have lost their past two games and want to exit the season on a high note. But they shot just 5-for-37 from three-point range against Boston on Saturday. … The Wolves have lost both their matchups to Dallas this season, once by 20 at home and by five in Dallas. … In the last matchup Jaden McDaniels held Luka Doncic to 6-for-16 shooting after Josh Okogie was out for the game. … Coach Chris Finch said Malik Beasley will not play, meaning his hamstring injury turned out to be season-ending.

Dallas update: Doncic has hit just three three-pointers in the two matchups against the Wolves, but it has been Kristaps Porzingis that has given the Wolves trouble. Porzingis scored 27 points and had 13 rebounds in the matchup on Feb. 8 and had 29 points, nine rebounds at Target Center on March 24. … Dallas (42-29), looking to clinch the fifth seed in the Western Conference, enters the game with the eighth-best offensive rating in the league.
